Transportation Tomorrow Transit Project

Gray & Pape provided history/architecture services for the proposed Transportation Tomorrow project in Louisville, KY.  The project included development of a light rail transit system in the City of Louisville and an unincorporated area of Jefferson County along a 15-mile corridor on and adjacent to city streets, interstate expressways, and an existing railroad corridor. The scope of work entailed the documentation and evaluation of National Register of Historic Places potential for 785 architectural resources located within the Area of Potential Effects, as well as identification and evaluation of historic districts. Gray & Pape worked with the client and consulting parties to prepare EIS documentation for cultural resources and to determine effects of this project. The project, proposed by the Transit Authority of River City, was funded by the Federal Transit Administration.
