Raymond D. Pasquariello is the Regional Manager for
Gray & Pape's operations in the Northeast and the Caribbean, received his formal training in historical archaeology
at Syracuse University (M.A. in 1995 and Ph.D. pending) and
has been active in the field of archaeology for over 15
years. His CRM employment and academic research background
have enabled him to engage in and manage complex cultural
resource projects throughout the Northeast and the U.S./British
Caribbean.
Mr. Pasquariello is a Registered Professional Archaeologist
(RPA) and a member of the Society for Historical Archaeology
(SHA), the Society for American Archaeology (SAA), the New
York Archaeological Council (NYAC), the World Archaeological
Congress (WAC), the International Association for Caribbean
Archaeology (IACA), the Caribbean Studies Association (CSA),
and the Barbados Museum and Historical Society (BMHS).
Mr. Pasquariello has extensive experience in Section 106
and NEPA-based project consultation at the state and federal
levels, and with numerous Native American groups. His project
management experience has included private developments,
large-scale terrestrial and marine utility/energy projects,
large-scale military installation projects, public interpretation
initiatives, and various research foundation grants.
Mr. Pasquariello has successfully directed projects in
accordance with standards and requirements set forth by
the following agencies: Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
(FERC), Department of Defense, Department of the Interior,
National Park Service (NPS), Rhode Island Historical Preservation
& Heritage Commission (RIHPHC), Massachusetts Historical
Commission (MHC), Connecticut Commission on Culture and
Tourism, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and
Historic Preservation (OPRHP), New Jersey Historic Preservation
Office (NJ HPO), New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission
(LPC), Vermont Division for Historic Preservation, and the
Puerto Rico and United States Virgin Islands Historic Preservation
Offices.
